The time in between

It took me all my effort to get up and out today. It's windy cold and rainy. Everyone is in the same boat. My need for exercise is at odds with the need to stay warm and cosy.

The time between Christmas and New Year is always a bit strange. As nothing really happens it's a good time to reflect.

At the same time last year I had just started chemotherapy and unknown to me, was teetering on the brink of accute anaemia and hypothermia (as my chemo drugs destroyed my red blood cells).

2024 has got to be better!
