A little visitor

Ladybirds often appear here and there in our house in the winter, we never quite know how they get in. Presumably they like the warmth although I'd have thought that they'd do better in a cosy warm new house rather than our draughty old one! We often find them clumped together on a sash window in a spare (unheated) bedroom but at the moment that room's in use so it's quite warm and they've separated so we only spot the odd one here & there, crawling slowly around.

This particular one was spotted on the kitchen floor (hence it's a bit dusty!) so it had migrated quite a long way from its friends. Anyway it provided an indoor blip on a horrid wet afternoon.
