675 day of war
Hello, friends!
Thank you all for your congratulations!
We've finally finished all the work, and starting today we have a few days off. This has been an extremely difficult year, and the forecast is that the next one will not be any easier. If last New Year we hoped that the war would soon end and we could return to normal life, now it is becoming increasingly clear that life is on pause, and Russia’s attempts to take us over will continue.
Yesterday there was another massive missile attack on Ukraine. The air raid began at 7 am and continued until noon. During this time, more than 150 missiles and drones were fired at us. Combined attacks deplete air defenses, allowing more missiles to reach their targets. This time, many of the missiles reached homes, maternity hospitals, several churches and schools, hospitals and critical infrastructure. The principle by which the Russians choose targets for attacks is still unclear, because they can hit literally any house. Many people died as a result of this attack, so January 1 will be a day of mourning for us.
After this attack there were minor power outages, but overall the power system is still holding up well.
Nastya and I got a little sick, so we feel more and more morally exhausted. I just don’t have the strength to do anything, including celebrate. We hope that the break will help us recover and work with renewed vigor in the coming year.
I thank everyone for their support and wish you a happy New Year holidays! Everything will be fine!
