Illusion

When I went shopping around noon in the gorgeous weather, there was a deceptive feeling of spring in the air -even the calves noticed it, running around playing with each other like a pack of dogs. I took a walk to the harbour and found heaps of seaweed at the waterfront after the days of strong wind. When I got home again it felt natural to have a coffee on the veranda, a little bit chilly but the feel of it was wonderful. Tomorrow, on new years eve, we're promised rain most of the day, which is a drag for everyone who wants to be out around midnight but, anything can apparently happen with the weather so let's see about tomorrow.
