Parkrun with Gs Dusty Bin

Several reasons to celebrate at parkrun today ...

G's 321st run (AKA Dusty Bin - from the TV series that ages us).

C volunteered for timekeeper and made friends with Scott.

The 2nd highest number of runners (429) in over 10 years  at Maldon Prom parkrun - so we had a minor panic in case we ran out of tokens.

Simon and Lorraine ran 57 parkruns this year including foreign travel to Koln Germany

Kerry ran her 250 and Jim achieved his 250 volunteer.

All great reasons to celebrate,  but  I am  pleased with my time of 3rd fastest 2nd lap, (which, bearing in mind how muddy the woods were makes me feel great.)

Plus during my First Timers Welcome,  I met a lad who needs to improve his 2.5 k prior to joining the navy on 22nd Jan, so he has taken up parkrun.  He kept going for the 5k and achieved his first ever parkrun.

Lots of cool reasons to celebrate.
