The final 3 hours of OT; a washing out and a quick run around Lidl before the boys rolled up for New Year and lunch; before a quick turnaround and up to Haymarket to battle through the snow to Falkirk for Alex to get his 9th League 1 ground of the season (of 10). 

More in hope than expectation - and so after a warming bovril, it only took 3 minutes to fall behind, 3 down in 16 and we escaped with a 5-0 defeat (2nd one of the season so far...), tempered by Annan losing and a wet wander back into Falkirk itself (from Grangemouth !!) and Tom picked up a golf club from Sports Direct before we headed back in town and hordes of Hearts fans plus the left overs from the 1872 Cup (Edinburgh v Glasgow; rugby) back to a quieter Granton to watch the end of Forest v Man Utd (har har !) and darts. 

The holidays have begun (well, they have for me!)
