Matcha Latte

We actually had time today to check out a new coffee bar by day, cocktail bar by night. We went on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Business was good. The matcha was a lot like drinking spinach and to be honest I didn’t really care for it but it did look pretty.

Jo Jo had his first grooming today and it’s nice to see his eyes.

I’ve been reading articles about this bakery downtown where the owner, who is a Cape Fear Community College faculty member, spends his weekends making delicious cinnamon rolls that sell out early. He was having a special event tonight of cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate. Sounded intriguing so we rode over to find the line down the block. At 40F, we chose not to stay. So home now watching the Bruins.
