Saturday: Cold Front

It’s the coldest we’ve known it to be in Belize. 20 degrees, with a chilly wind.  The attraction of our accommodation was the sea and our own private plunge pool which we have barely used.  We half debated whether we should just cut our losses and head home today but we decided against.

Instead, we went for a bracing walk on the beach with sand flying around, strolled through the village, bought some dog food for a stray dog, and discovered that ‘Forrest Gump’ was on tv this afternoon.  

And we had a nice dinner at our hotel this evening.  So all’s good.
