It’s New Years Eve

down under!
We’ve nothing planned, take in a movie maybe, or watch The Royal Variety Show. We possibly wont see the new year in.  It’s not that important to us as we age!
We’ve had a primo weather day finally, so took ourselves off for a walk along Caroline Bay .  We actually were told to remove ourselves off the sands by a nice bloke in hi viz jacket…they were setting up the fireworks display which is let off at midnight. He said it’s costing a modest $30k.  Of course we complied, from there we wandered around the new playground, through the bird aviary, found a very posh new seat, then took ourselves up to one of the restaurants on the bay hill for a coffee and a yummy savoury muffin.  All of those places are covered in the collage in extra.
This afternoon I had a good phone catch up with Janelle after their wonderful South East Asia trip. All good with them.
