Cyclone damage to a walking bridge …..

….. ….. ….. over the Oakley Creek in the Oakley Park in Auckland. I made my way gingerly across! and then walked across to Avondale by a pathway system to visit a family member who’s unwell, and back by a hopefully quicker route, but heavy rain put paid to that.
Would you believe it, I was asking directions from a Dad and his young boys, and he offered me a lift home! What a grand gesture to finish off 2023.
