The Giraffe House

First of all, thanks so much for your wonderful comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s robin - blip birthdays are so special, and I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to help me celebrate, particularly at a time when so many blippers also have milestones. 

Today has been a manic day of packing, post-Christmas tidying, and travelling. We’re spending New Year with friends near Nottingham then flying to Slovenia for a week. It all seemed like a good idea at the time! 

Our ‘late lunch’ arrival turns into ‘early dinner’, so the day has gone in terms of photography. Still, there’s plenty of opportunity for inside shots - particularly in view of Nic’s giraffe obsession. There are literally hundreds here, but I’ve decided to go with this colourful cross stitch version made by his daughter a few Christmases back.
