Malcolm

Not sure what day it is?  It is always like that between Christmas and New Year but guess it is Saturday.  No.2 and H arrived at lunchtime but No.1 was not having a great day and was feeling a bit rough.  We looked at the weather and contemplated a walk but it was raining (again), however we all decided to wrap up and just get on with it and walked to the pub.  No.1 was feeling really tired but did well and walked slowly.  We enjoyed a glass of wine and chat and fortunately OH had driven the car (and walked back) so that we didn't have to walk back again (as it was dark).

Home to get dinner on and the automatic oven had let me down and I had a bit of sense of humour failure wondering why I was cooking a roast at 6.00pm.  OH helped by laying the table and then went upstairs to watch old family videos with No.2 but he did wash up!  

We played scrabble again but I can't remember who won!
