Palm Leave Decorations

This is the ceiling in our kitchen and the ‘chains’ are made from Palm Leaves. Pat bought them several decades ago and this is the first time we have used them.

There are very few ceilings in our house which are horizontal. Hanging the palm chains from the light fittings proved a challenge and they are being adjusted as the chains continue to lengthen.

Further to our fallen Oak Tree we have researched the disposal and have found several sources who could use the timber for structural purposes, sculpture and carving.
