Farewell 2023!

On the last day of the year we decided to walk up to the radio mast. It was rather dull, but we wanted to get out so got ready to go and opened the door - it was raining!

We tried again later and as the rain was more or less over we dressed up and set off - OK, not walking from the house, but driving to the nearest road! It's a walk that we've done many times and the view at the end of it is well worth the climb. Gorse in flower all the way and a few blown down after the recent wind - and one Sitka spruce blown down over the track, but we don't mind that!

My extra today is the view back over the town - the lochan in the bottom right was once a curling pond.
