Hogmanay Reflections

Another calendar year of blips - my thirteenth. I was looking back through my other end of year entries. In 2010 I had only been blipping every day for a couple of months so my first full year was 2011. There was a blipmeet on Blackford Hill with at least twenty blippers present. Looking down the list eight of us are still blipping regularly (have posted this week) and a few more have blipped at least once this year. Those of us who have kept going are now all above 4500 blips, with a couple already in the 5000 club and a few more fast approaching it. A feeling of accomplishment in keeping the daily practise going all this time. 
The prom and beach were busy this afternoon. A year ago I blipped the newly opened sauna on the prom and you can just see three sauna-goers on the left of the picture, returning from a dip in the sea. The sauna featured in a short piece on the BBC, looking at the current trend for 'wild saunas'. Still not sure if we will do anything special for New Year - we might go down to the beach or we might just stay in and watch a film on the telly. A Happy New Year to everyone on blip when it comes!
