Over The Top

We had a walk over to Glastonbury late morning to check on our friends’ house as they are still away until later in the week.

The recent heavy rain has raised the levels in the River Brue as high as I have seen them. The “lake” on the left is actually afield (see extra).

On the way back we bumped into our friends Roger and Jo, who were over doing a bit of shopping, in the High Street.

This afternoon we helped Chris put up the Yeovil-themed prints Kate had bought him for Christmas.

Wishing everyone a healthy, happy and peaceful New Year. We’ll be seeing it in in the company of Rod Stewart, something Tess has been looking forward to for over 40 years; sadly, he’s only on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny, rather than here in the flesh!
