Cooked to perfection

Take 2 of my filling in the blanks for December 2023!

It was a day in the office for me today, which went well (as far as I can remember!!). G has thankfully stopped tutoring her new kid at home so could go to the airport to collect her long-time friend Catherine. We cooked up a plan to make it easy for parking/transit/collecting someone who doesn't walk very well. It involved riding the Metro for one stop both ways, done without hassle.

I got collected from work at the end of the day - woo hoo! G also made a Palestinian dish called Matloubeh. She used the Iranian rice cooker that Farzan gave her. It crisps the base to perfection. The meal was - delicious!
