The Marches........

And all the local schools are off. I took a day's holiday and headed down to the town to see the parade. You could have seen the photos of the floats, bands and participants but only if I had carried a spare camera battery!

However I was stopped on the way down by this view of St Michael's spire and the palace against the yellow. When I took this photo, I was standing on the bridge over the canal. I am lucky to stay in such a lovely place.

The children had a great day with their friends whilst I tried to weed the jungle that is outside our fence!
