Old grasses

These bits of grass are mostly over 30 years old. Picked by me some time ago and put in a vase. I think we'll take them home along with the similarly aged teasel heads!

Today was a day for dodging the very heavy showers. Our morning walk was mostly dry and we got back just before the heavens opened. In the afternoon we met a schoolfriend of mine at a local garden centre. It rained heavily while we were there and we got a bit wet going back to the car afterwards!
