Surprise visitor of the year

What a great bird to end the year with! A serious "you should not be here" bird for this time of year in this location. This is an immature Northern Parula warbler , which should be somewhere in the  Caribbean or Mexico by now and is here in NY. Climate change anyone? I guess it has been so warm so far this little one is doing ok , but Ive never seen one here in summer let alone the last of December. I guess it goes  along with the pansies that are still blooming under the host in my front yard.  But , wow what a fun find!
