Happy New Year

I always like to have a wander through South Edinburgh visiting shops, cafes etc On New Years Eve.  So that's what we did today and it was splendid.
Later on we went to Craiglockhart Pond, I have rarely seen happier ducks (of many types) diving, splashing and have a great time.
I cooked a special Japanese meal-as a treat.  Making a vegan Ramen, and rice balls.
I am always so busy so followed this by doing a watercolour painting of a Waxwing.
Even later on we fired up the lights on the boathouse as way of celebration.
