New years eve

Today, I actually shampooed the carpets! I’ve known it needed doing for a year now and kept putting it off, so a small win.

If I’ve learnt one thing over the last year, it is that I have to think as ‘me’ and not ‘we’. Not always successful, but tonight as I yawned through the evening, I decided that I do not have to wait up until midnight, on my own, just because it’s New Year’s Eve. So, I’ve drunk my Baileys and am now off to bed!
