Ringing in the New Year!
Sunday
Our day started quite early, as usual for a Sunday morning, as whilst the choir wasn’t singing this morning, the handbells were playing a great arrangement of Go Tell it on the Mountain for the Prelude. It was quite tricky piece for some, including Roger, in the way of timing and different techniques. So it wasn’t perfect, but I think overall it sounded pretty good. We stayed for Bible study class afterwards, then when we got home, I treated us to fondue for lunch. Even though it was another dismal day, with some intermittent rain showers, Roger and I did make it out for a walk round Sharon Woods. Whilst Laura is improving, she still didn’t feel she had the energy. We had roast lamb for dinner followed by blackberry and apple crumble, then played games until about 11.30, when we stopped to get ready for seeing the New Year in.
Wishing all my Blip friends a Happy and Healthy New year, and let’s all join together in a prayer for Peace!
