A Protea.

Went to drop some things off today for some people, and passed this Protea bush. Couldn't resist the beautiful flowers on it.
PJ & D finally made it to Brisbane, just rang him and they are waiting for our grandson to pick them up. Finally departed from Wellington just after 5.00pm tonight. Somehow they got upgraded!! & spent the afternoon in the Koru lounge until it was time to leave. That doesn't happen when I am travelling. Maybe I will let PJ handle the delays next time.
Very still and calm here. When I told PJ (just after midday) that there wasn't a leaf moving on the trees, he replied that there were hardly any leaves left over there to move, and some of the trees had gone too. Said it was the worst storm he had ever seen in Wellington.
