End of a year

Wonderful to start the day with a great church service. Elbows was preaching and DougsJB and NoaNoa were in the band which was unusually fab. With a male vocal lead, and a great person on the AV desk, it was ace. Loved it.

Lunch with everyone was kind of light - soups & breads … and then football divided again - with half the family glued to the TV and the other half reading. So it was almost dark by the time we went for a walk. Lovely though.

Back for games - a brilliant one crafted by A&D. Then the 12 of us went out for a curry which was really scummy. Then wandered back passing a pub we popped into but it was pretty dead in there so we all headed home for a fire pit, countdown and toast at home. I reckon we got to bed at about 1.30’ish. This family does a great New Year. SkyeMan found firefighter fluid which livened up the fire pit somewhat! :-))

We’ve had a great 2023 with the 2 amazing weddings and lots of other stuff to be thankful for. God is good all the time and all the time, God is good. Through the ups and downs of family and church life, we know this to be true.
