Wild horses wouldn't drag me away
While the rest of London nurses its hangover I'm at the V&A.
Starting 2024 in the way I intend to go on.
I am in a public space eyeing up some art.
The horses aren't actually wild, but they have a lot of spirit, you can't deny it. They are part of a plaster cast, one of seven scenes from the life of Gaston de Foix (who was a French military leader). Original artist Agostino Busti (1483-1548).
The cast was probably made on some chap on his Grand Tour.
