Happy New Year!

A very Happy New Year to one-and-all :-)

We've had a wonderful afternoon's walking over in the Pentland Hills - started from near Threipmuir Reservoir (see 1st extra); up and over the 'beech tree avenue' (see 2nd extra); taking us to and through Green Cleugh; then over to The Howe, where we had a late packed-lunch (see 3rd extra of R & M).

Returned via the same route - with the main snap showing a classic Pentland Hills stone-dyke and treeline ; all set against a marvelous sky, with the nearby hills as a backdrop :-)

An excellent way to start 2024.
