Drifting With The Wind

Wind pushed the water along and with it bubbles, possibly ice forming as temperatures dropped towards freezing. With low light, dragging the shutter caused the bubbles to streak, creating interesting patterns. I took a lot of shots, experimenting with shutter speed and trying to find static elements, but the bubbles didn't always cooperate.

Of course, I pushed the contrast and colour for artistic effect, which involved more experimentation. I'm ok with that; I haven't altered the subject and I haven't just applied a preset which someone else made.
