At the beach

We took Maisie to Lyall Bay today, rather on the spur of the moment. She likes the water but not waves, and drank quite a lot of sea water while bobbing for bubbles, a game she plays at home in a little tub as well. Monty is zooming in the background. Not a character we knew, but extremely charming. After the beach it was time for the much needed bath and then her own zoom until crashing out on the couch in the sun.
Lovely interlude in a day which has otherwise had its moments.
