Homegrown veg again!

Lovely New Year's Day lentil roast with mum. Huge thank you to Ivor for spending hours in the kitchen! All the vegetables were home grown. Crispy curly Kale, roast potatoes, sprouts, green beans, cheesy leeks, garlicky swiss chard, garlicky sprouts tops and red cabbage. Sadly the garlic wasn't home grown. Having an allotment is difficult at times but definitely worth it. I'm just hoping for better weather this year. Last year was less than ideal but gave me a new found admiration for farmers especially farmers who don't use pesticides and herbicides - it's incredibly hard!
