Leaden Sky

The rain clouds rolled in continuously today with showers/torrential rain hitting at regular intervals. A good day for office work and taking down a few Christmas decorations!

This lone but very well fed by the look of it, herring gull, was flying against the wind homewards presumably to roost late this afternoon. 

The new washing machine arrived thank heavens, was plumbed in and has been on continuously since as there has been a staggering amount of washing backlog.
