Lajpat Nagar

My sister said to wake up at 10am sharp to go shopping for my mum’s present today and I did. But my amazing sister was sleeping. We eventually left for Lajpat Nagar and told the jeweller about the gifting requirements. She was spot on with suggesting things at our budget but we both felt later that we could go a bit overboard and buy something nice for our mum.

My sister also made me have some street food and bought me some Indian candies to take back to Edinburgh.

A colleague’s wife who I have barely known messaged asking to bring her stuff from Delhi. I felt a bit unsettled at first on how she secured my number. But, my sister said that it would be a kind thing to do.
