The view from the bed!

It may be a New Year but the weather continues on the same theme as earlier. Cloudy, around  -10°C, and snow steadily trickling down.  The snowfall has been very light, but even light snowfall builds up when it comes down hour after hour and day after day.
We enjoyed the luxury of a cup of tea in bed as it properly got light and this is the view  we had when we opened the curtains. (The lovely card is a present from a fellow blipper)
It has been, and continues to be, amazingly beautiful outside, thanks to that steady trickle of snow. The ground is covered in soft waves of white and the trees are full of hanging snow. We always have snow in winter but it isn't always like this and when I see this beauty it takes my breath away. What a privilege to live somewhere like this!
