Les Grangettes Nature Reserve, Villeneuve.

Instead of walking in the mist and storms in the mountains, coffee by the lake was called for, stopping at the viewing tower that looks out over the eastern end of Lake Geneva. In the distance is the breakwater (large is definitely more interesting) which is the limit for boating activity to protect the water birds. You can also see Queen Victoria's tree which has been blipped twice before. Although from here you cannot get close to the birds a 300mm shot of the Laurel and Hardy birds is quite amusing, a Coot and Grey Heron in the same teritory.
