Back in the department today, after a long commute where I had almost got to campus, realised I’d left the essential piece of work at home, and had to turn back!

No one else has yet returned from the break so it was a very quiet day. I’m not a fan of the isolation that often comes with the PhD — definitely the thing I’ll miss the least.
