Austin Capitol

The blip was taken in the Senate Chamber of the Capitol building in Austin. This is where the laws of Texas are all decided.and there is also the House of Representatives in the building but it was closed today as they were taking down the Christmas tree in that chamber - we did look in from the viewing gallery. .
G and M are back to work today so we took Abigail in the train to Downtown station and walked up Congress to the Capitol. We have visited it twice before but Abigail hadn’t so we wanted to let her see this important Austin building.

We had a lovely lunch in Congress avenue then it was back on the train just as the rain was starting. Probably just getting us  acclimatised for home !
