Alysha and Di

Mauzee and I spent the morning out at Leeuwin Lighthouse today with the “Friends of Leeuwin” group.  They’re a very committed group of Augustian’s who turn up on the first Tuesday of every month to work on the rehabilitation and revegetation of the area around the lighthouse.  Alysha and Di are there to guide the group and allocate the tasks to be undertaken on the day.  They work with the Capes Foundation.  It’s an interesting foundation and well worth heading across to the link to read more about their responsibilities and vision.   
This is such a diverse region and it’s incredible that Alysha and Di travel between Cape Naturalists and Cape Leeuwin and as far ease of Capel on a regular basis.
We really enjoyed the couple of hours that we spent with the group today and will definitely be involved from now on.
