Wild Iris……

I came across this dainty little flower early this morning. It is a wild Iris, aka “Dietes Grandiflora” and is growing in a plot of native plantings near the Lopsided Pine beside the river.
This afternoon I took Maisie to Vet Marlborough to have her ears and her rear end checked. Alas the swelling/growth there has enlarged despite antibiotics and needs further investigating for a possible “foreign body”. So onwards until tomorrow…. When she will be back at Vet Marlborough for treatment.
