Glass jellyfish

A transition day, moving from our friends near Nottingham to an overnight stay in Heathrow.

The weather forecast is vile - wind and torrential rains are not good driving companions. Still, we plan a route to avoid  the major motorways, and half way through the journey we actually see the sun. Clearly we’re travelling in the right direction, as it seems our friends are now having to leave the house in wellies as there so much flooding.

My only photo today is of the glass light installation in the bar/restaurant of our hotel. I really like the  discs of glass and bubbles hanging in the air looking like a sea of blue and gold jellyfish (better large on black).  Tagging this for Tiny Tuesday is stretching things a bit. The elements are small rather than tiny, and while blue is definitely featured, it’s not the dominant colour. Thanks to Ilya for hosting.
