Lights of the Pole Star

More of the same - dull and wet! I think the day can be best summed up by a limerick - 

I had sat far too long in my chair
and just had to get out for some air.
Waterproofs were essential
as the rain was torrential,
But I really enjoyed it, I swear!

I didn't go very far and took only two pictures - this is one of them. It shows the Northern Lighthouse Board tender NLV Pole Star, lit up and moored in her usual place opposite the Manor House Hotel on the south side of Oban Harbour.

A quick walk and back to dry out and enjoy a cuppa.

I should add that the answer to yesterday's identification query is Scarlett Johansson!
