Flooding in the Orchard
I spent the morning sorting out finances, which I had neglected to do recently. Still a little more to do, but they will have to wait until Friday.
Today’s picture shows, to some extent, the amount of flooding at the bottom end of the orchard. Despite the rain stopping at some point during the night, the pond continues to grow with seepage. It is a long time since the orchard has been flooded as much as this. The one remaining beehive, which had bees during the summer, is in the water. The picture does not show the water, which is right on the boundary and even further up the orchard.
The temperature at noon today was nine degrees Celsius.
