Flower Festival

This annual village event started today and involves much of the community and a bunch of very hard working volunteers. This year the theme is "Books".

Strolled to the Church to see the flower displays over lunchtime which are as excellent as ever - but thought this was the most unusual.

It is based on the book "Umbrella" by Will Self which I blipped about before. Isn't it great?

Of f to the BBQ and Barn Dance in an hour - the whole family are coming (some under sufferance) but I'm hoping it's going to be fun and that other blippers I know in the village aren't bringing their cameras....
