‘January Sales’

Out for our morning jog just before 10, we passed a queue of people waiting patiently for the local Shelter shop’s annual ‘January Spectacular’. 

Running for over 20 years now, it's a January sale with a difference - offering a vast range of the most exciting items that have been donated over the past year. 

Items on offer this year included a signed first edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and a first edition of HG Wells' iconic The War of the Worlds. Designer brands on offer included Armani, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren, as well as vintage coffee and tea sets, Portmeirion China and a range of records, pop-culture collectables, board games, jewellery, art, and more.
