I Stayed Too Long at the Fair

I’m embarrassed to admit that I worked on this for so long that I can no longer even see it. I was originally taken with the scattering of leaves and seeds on the sidewalk—lovely color and light, which somehow didn’t hold up as an image. Well, I had the butterfly already cut out, and I added some texture here and there, tweaked this and that, tasted several apps, and here you go. 

(Does that come under bravery, which somehow has inserted itself as my word of the year?)
