Goldcrest - 1

My first bird blip of the year and one of the harder ones to photograph. This little goldcrest was very active hopping around by the meres. It was very busy at Burton today and the car park was full when I arrived at lunchtime. If any of you are thinking of visiting I would try and get there early or come after lunch. I think it was a combination of factors, the start of a new birding year, lovely weather, school holidays and the lure of the cafe.
