Thank you all so very much for your best wishes, stars and hearts for Misty.  I am pleased to say she is now home and as you'd expect quite dopey from the operation.  She's had a few wanders around the garden and has eaten a small amount of chicken with her medication.  Sadly though the long term prognosis isn't good ... I wont say any more, but am hoping that the vet is wrong.  Its all been such a shock.  Anyhow, I left her for a few minutes this afternoon as needed to post a family birthday card and spotted this rainbow en-route.
