Mega stress!
Mega stress today! I spent THREE hours at the surgery, waiting to get my doctor to sign the Medical form for Doha airport assistance. Long story - suffice to say, doctors are not allowed to sign random online forms. And she was busy. However, I got a few more of my email hiccups dealt with while there.
I staggered home after three hours waiting, and just checked my Qatar app, using my booking. A bit of a scroll around, and lo and behold, there was a 'require assistance' tick box there!!! I ticked it. Got assistance. I had originally consulted the official Qatar website…
WHY DIDNT I LOOK AT THAT FIRST?
Good news is that I've got the extra days at the hotel booked, through the travel agent.
My energy provider sent an email saying they didn't have a record of me being a customer (for only the last several years). I've done it through an intermediary, Switchd, for years. Sent a reply to say I was definitely a customer, and have several of the recent official letters to prove it. Got an email back to say they've sorted it. But login not working yet.
The calendars that I ordered, and apparently ordered three times, arrived. But only ONE calendar. Archie and I walked to the Post Office and I sent it to the furtherest destination - NZ - hoping it will arrive in January. I was shocked, once again, at the cost. I have contacted the calendar printers asking where my other calendars are...
JR went to the gym, then took Archie out for a walk, then cleaned out the fridge and freezer. The local hardware shop is still closed, so no mouse bait yet.
In the afternoon, Hazel came over to help us with all the techy stuff. Actually, I don't know how people manage - we were confused, and we're not completely computer illiterate. I've lost count of the times I've had to ask to reset passwords...
