Mississippi Barge

It was delivered a short while ago. Gone is the 15 year old dual air chambers mattress that we bought even before the manufacturer slapped a gauge on the pump and remarketed it as "The Sleep Number Bed". <cue heavenly music>

All this time and especially in the last five years we've been guessing how hard or soft our respective air mattresses should be since I'm pretty sure they lost air during the day. Aah, I will so miss* the sudden bvvvvvvvvt, bvvvvt, bvvt of inflation, followed by the pshhhhhht, pshhhht, pshht of deflation, just as I'm about to fall asleep.

We laid down this one's floor model for twenty minutes in the store after trying every other one on display. Welcome home Papa and Mama bear. Can't wait to sleep tonight.
