Rush hour in Reykjavík

Luckily I don't live here, so normally this is not a problem. But today I took a flight from Akureyri to Reykjavík, in order to attend a funeral. I thought about driving, but after three trips to Reykjavík in the last three months, I just didn't have the energy to drive. I find it somewhat distressing during the winter months, as the weather can change quite suddenly.
