The view from the balcony

Unrelenting rain today but went for a swim at 7.25 before anyone else was up. Managed to get some bird food which they provide outside the reception block and enjoyed watching various small birds coming to feed. Will replenish tomorrow. There is a feeding bowl but I spilt some on the balcony. The robins seemed to like being on the balcony and were very good at chasing the smaller birds away but they in their turn were chased away by the blackbirds! Also made some chicken stock from carcasses. Seemed to take forever! Spent some time FaceTiming a friend in Canada which was a treat!
